Welcome
For the midlife mom who's wondering what comes next.
I believe women remember who they are in the presence of other women, and that the wisdom of their lived experience is meant to be shared.
You've never been great at following the script.
Maybe you tried anyway... You did the things you were supposed to do, checked the boxes, built a life that looks pretty good from the outside. Maybe you did it your way and still ended up somewhere that doesn't quite fit. Maybe you loved it. Any which way, here you are in midlife, and something is shifting. And you're wondering:
Is this finally my time? Or is it too late for that?
It's not too late. But it is time.
The roles you've played — mother, partner, the one who keeps it all together — are changing (oh, and so is your body and your capacity for pretty much everything else, lol). The identity that came from those roles is fading, and the new one isn't clear yet. And honestly? Nobody really prepares you for this part.
Can you relate?
-
Your body feels different. Your energy has shifted. And almost all of the things that used to work just… don't anymore. The questions show up at 3am, or in the shower, or while you're staring at a closet full of clothes that either don't fit or don't feel like you anymore:
Who am I now? What's actually mine?
It can feel really lonely, honestly. Like everyone else has it figured out, and you're the only one standing here wondering what comes next.
But you're not alone in this.
We, as women, have always found our way through by finding each other — sharing what's true, what's hard, and what's helped. You don't have to figure this out by yourself.
This isn't a crisis. It's a threshold. And really, it's an invitation — maybe to build something you're excited about, or maybe the quieter realization that what you've been searching for has been in you all along.
It's not about starting over. It's about trusting who you already are, reconnecting with her, and building this next season from there — in a community, with other women doing the same thing.
This is a safe space.
Here, we slow down.
We listen — to our bodies, to each other, to the quiet voice inside that has always known more than we gave it credit for. We make space for clarity and wisdom to emerge naturally.
We reconnect with what we actually want. With our voice. With who we actually are underneath everything we've been holding.
I’m Betsy Forsyth
I'm a midlife mom, guide, community-builder, nature-lover, mountain biker, mind-body nerd, and entrepreneur with a little sprinkling of practical woo.
I'm not here to hand you a roadmap or tell you who to be next. I'm here to walk alongside you, question the patterns and stories we carry, get honest about what’s no longer working, and discover what you want in this next season.
There’s more to my story.
What to expect…
My approach is body-based and presence-led.
We slow down together, listen beneath the surface, and gently unwind patterns of over-functioning, self-doubt, or whatever else seems to be holding you back. This isn’t about fixing you. It’s about making space to hear yourself again and act from your inner truth.
Working Together
Mentorship & Small Groups
I offer custom 1:1 mentorship & small groups
for the midlife woman whose identity is shifting. This is not a solo journey.
Membership
The Embodied Well is a somatic sisterhood for midlife women.
Kind of like a gym membership, it’s self-led practices and monthly live group sessions, with a feeling of belonging. It’s perfect for women who feel the quiet restlessness of this season of life but don’t want to drop into 1:1 or small group coaching.

How We Begin:
The Connection Session
Before we decide anything, we slow down together.
This first conversation is complimentary. Its an opportunity for us to talk about where you are, what's shifting, and what you're looking for. I'll listen carefully. I'll share what I see. And I'll be honest with you about whether I think working together makes sense right now.
If it's a fit, we'll know. If it isn't — or if the timing is off — you'll leave with a clearer sense of your own ground. That matters to me as much as anything else.
